ATTENTION: We are organizing an art show titled “Live from the Chair,” to be held in November 2023.  This was inspired by a series of poems I wrote while receiving chemotherapy in “the chair.”  Going through my cancer journey, I’ve found such a sense of community and solidarity, meeting strangers who quickly became like family.  I hope that by sharing these experiences, I can help others through the process and the road to peace. That’s why I’m calling for submissions (writing, visual art and photos) from others who have been LIVE from the chair.  Submissions are open until October 20th. Opening night will be October 28th at Otis Street Arts Project 3706 Otis Street, Mt Rainier, MD 20712
